Local MP visits Slade Health facility in New Zealand

Slade Writers / 28 Oct, 2022

Local MP Hon. Carmel Sepuloni recently visited the new Slade Health compounding site in New Zealand.

The Slade team recently had the honour of touring Hon. Carmel Sepuloni in her capacity as the local MP through the new Slade Health GMP licensed sterile compounding facility in Auckland. In partnership with Te Toka Tumai Auckland, the commencement of this service marks a special milestone in our shared commitment to world-class sterile manufacturing for New Zealand’s hospitals and patients.

The new facility will deliver chemotherapy, antibiotics and analgesics for Te Toka Tumai Auckland, who treat 40% of the country’s patients. With cancer diagnoses expected to double by 2040 in New Zealand, this facility is an important evolution to support world-class cancer services well into the future.
